Marathon / winter series

The Echuca Mini is held each year in October, it's an excellent lead-up event to the VicSuper Murray Marathon.
It follows the Murray from Barmah to Echuca and covers most of the Murray Marathon’s Day 3 course .

 The race will be held by Footscray Canoe Club on the Maribyrnong River, 40 Farnsworth Ave Footscray.

Calling all FCC paddlers, this is our last chance to bring home the Winter Series Trophy , let's give our best and keep up the tradition. 
 

The first sprint regatta for the 2010 - 2011 season will be held at Patterson Lakes Canoe Club, Launching Way Carrum.  All craft are welcome and a large range of classes will be offered.

It would be great to see our K4s on the water, so let's put together a few teams.
There will be three races on the day,  starting at 10.30, 12noon and 1.30pm.

On Tuesdays at 4.30pm we are starting up a new informal squad. Intermediate and above paddlers are welcome to attend. It's likely that as numbers grow, groups will form so that every one can paddle at their own pace. Format of the session will be driven by the group, initial plans are to have a run down to Kanes and/or Dights each session.
