Winter Series Race 8 Essendon - Singles 25 Sept 2011
Calling all FCC paddlers, this is our last chance to bring home the 2011 Winter Series Trophy , let's give our best and keep up the tradition.
Important Note
To comply with Marathon Rules all paddlers are required to wear FCC club uniform. Paddlers in other colors will not accrue points.
Race Details
Be there Sunday 25th Sept at Essendon Canoe Club on the Maribyrnong River.

Club Boats and Trailer
Please add your details to the whiteboard in the clubhouse a week prior to the race to confirm attendance and if required, book a club boat. This will help us with allocation of club boats which may not be easy for this race!
Club boats can be transported to the race on private cars or on the club trailer.
However the club trailer will only be towed to the race if numbers warrant it.
To minimise damage to boats all cars must have cradles that are spaced appropriately to secure and support the boat, this is especially important for doubles.
When loading the trailer, the whiteboard must be checked to make sure boats marked for private transport are not loaded.
What to do :
- Before the preceeding Friday complete an On-line entry on the Canoe Vic website.
- If required load your boat on the club trailer before 7.00am Sunday.
Loading is probably best done done the night before the race. - Bring your family and friends, great walking track along the river and arrive at Essendon and register well before the 10.15am deadline on the day.
- Attend race briefing at 10.30am
- Warm up, ready for race start at 11.00am
- Enjoy the last Winter Series race before the 2011 Victorian Marathon Championships to be held on the 8th and 9th of October !
