Winter Series Race 3 Bairnsdale - Singles KEEP for 2012

Race 3 of the Winter Series will be held on the Mitchell River in Bairnsdale.
The race starts on the downstream side of the bridge and covers a 6km course. Conditions are usually great with some current while the river banks provide a degree of protection from the wind.  For those not competing, a path suitable for bikes follows the river for most of the course.

FCC Members should note that Boat loading onto the club trailer is be completed by 12.30pm Saturday (5th june)

We have booked a bus and shared cabin accommodation for members.
Total cost will be in the order of $100 per person which will cover bus hire, fuel, accommodation and breakfast. This compares very favourably with the self drive/stay option and in addition you have the bonus of great company and music (depending on your music taste and which iPod is plugged in!)  We will be staying at the Mitchell Gardens Holiday Park located right on the banks of the Mitchell.

The Bus will depart FCC at or before  2pm 

All participating FCC Members should add their details to the whiteboard in the clubhouse as soon as possible to confirm attendance.  This will help us with booking adjustments prior to the event and assist with allocation of club boats..

For dinner Saturday night meet at 7pm at the Commercial Hotel 124 Main Street Bairnsdale, a few hundred metres west of the caravan park. A booking for 7pm has been made in the name of Fairfield Canoe Club.
