This doubles race, the third of the winter series, follows an interesting course at Patterson Lakes.
Starting on Patterson River near the boat ramps, through the flood gates into the canal system and up towards the end of the river near the freeway. Water can be choppy especially near the flood gates with waves bouncing back off the concrete.
All paddlers must add their details on the whiteboard no more than two weeks prior to the race, to book a club boat and reserve a place on the club trailer. All boats to be loaded on the club trailer by 6.30pm the night before the race.
A volunteer is required to tow the club trailer, please add your name the whiteboard..
Meet at Patterson Lakes Canoe Club Launching Way, Carrum.
Note race entries close at 10am sharp.
Although this Race 3 of the Winter Series is a designated DOUBLES race, SINGLES are welcome.
On-line registration will be open until Friday night.
Competitors have the option of either Class or Divisional registration.
Divisional competitors are grouped according to the divisional handicap system which takes past peformance into account.
Class entries are grouped according to boat type and age.
