Clean Up Australia Day FCC cleaning our river - 7th March

Sick of seeing rubbish floating along the river or on the banks? Well here is your chance to do something about it!
7th March 2010 . 11am to 1pm with an informal bbq to follow.

Come and join your fellow paddlers picking up some of the rubbish in our part of the Yarra. Groups will be sent to various points along the river near the club. We will provide gloves and bags but please bring tongs or other implements to retrieve the rubbish. A stick with a coat hanger wire as a hook has proved to be very useful over the last few years.

Enthusiastic participants are required so if you have an hour or two spare please come along and see what treasures you can find!
